I am a nurse with 20 years of experience. I gained my infusion experience working with chronically ill patients. I consider it a privilege helping people walk through very difficult times of their lives with things like chemotherapy, as well as treatments for rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Chron’s disease just to name a few. I’m excited to work at Elevate Healing to explore additional ways of helping people heal.
Beyond my proficiency in infusion therapy I have also gained experience while working abroad. I lived in Cambodia and Indonesia collectively for 4 years so I would love it if you ask me about my time there. I’ve also been to India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Italy. It was life changing! I believe we learn so much about our own culture if we dare to travel outside of it and simply observe. This international exposure has not only enhanced my cultural competency but also broadened my different approaches to healthcare and wellness. This global perspective enables me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds , offering support and guidance in achieving their wellness goals.
In addition, I am an avid adventurer and embrace an active lifestyle. I have done various activities throughout the last 20 years or so from mountain bike races, to sprint triathlons, rock climbing, whitewater rafting guide, and most recently salsa dancing performances. I understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with an active lifestyle.

Hi! I’m Alissa and I have been a nurse for 28 years. I became an LVN in 1994 and an RN in 1999. I went to College of the Redwoods in Humboldt County for my Associates Degree in Registered Nursing then in 2012 I graduated from the University of San Francisco with my Masters Degree in Nursing. I started working in Nursing homes as an LVN, then moved to acute care when I became an RN. In acute care I worked med/surg, ICU and ER, then I became a nurse for a rural Native American Clinic on the Klamath River for several years. I moved to Sonoma County and did triage and advice nursing for all departments from pediatrics to oncology. The past 8 years I have worked in alternative medicine. I work in a few settings currently, I’m an Ozone RN and teacher in Santa Rosa, CA, I’m a mobile IV nurse in the bay area, and I also do vitamin infusions for Elevate Healing in Hercules, CA. Vitamin infusions help replenish important vitamins in our body that are harder to get from food, especially with the severely depleted soil the food is usually grown in. I believe different infusions help support the immune system and increase the ability for the body to heal without lasting side effects.
